Okay, I've got a great idea for a practical joke to play on my friend. But first I need to learn how to remote view into his house, then use telekinesis to move some things around. I also want to hit him with a chi ball and then appear as a shadow person before shape-shifting into a bat and flying off. I know that people can do this, will somebody please tell me how? I mean really tell me how? I can keep a secret.

You need to seek the 300 year old monk who lives on top of a forgotten mountain in Tibet. He is totally into those kind of pratical jokes.

Do they go into a dream state?

Or do they actually go into their "past-life"? I know this sounds weird ha ha…
Dr. Bob: I didn't say it was real. I was only asking how it is done. Do they put them in a dream state where the individual only sees a dream or is what they say a real past life? Thats what I'm asking.

The experiences of our past life/lives are present with us in the form of impressions. It is only that we do not know how to recall/ remember them. These impressions are like a history book or a record of all the experiences which we had during our past life/lives(we do not know how many lives we have undergone). They act as guidelines for our present and future life's experiences which we undergo/ will undergo. These guidelines are binding, we cannot digress from them, it is beyond us to do so. So, sometimes it becomes difficult for us to understand why we are doing what we are doing. Recalling past life experiences help us to understand our behaviour and resolve it.

I read somewhere that Edgar Allan Poe considered sadness to be the highest manifestation of beauty. Why is that?

Some one had said: "our sweetest songs are those that tell the saddest thoughts" Was that William Wordsworth?

Anyway your question is not very far from that lyrics.

I donot know why EAPoe had felt it that way.My wild thought wanders around the explanation that when a very beautiful thing is seen.. a stunningly beautiful woman…… it evokes a great happy feeling. But at the same time the likes of Poe may start thinking that such a beauty will fade, will age and will ultimately perish . This very thought may trigger sadness,.

But , in some ways , that does not make sense too. The sunset or the sunrise , the majestic mountains are all tremendous beauties. They never age.They will always evoke happiness.
i hope EA Poe answers this question.
