I've been reading books on this subject and have seen tv shows where subjects demonstrate their ability to remote view on life TV.
The theory of one consciousness that we can have access to, it's very appealing to me.

What are your thoughts on this regard?
Remote viewing has been used by our Government to spy at other countries, and this has been well documented.

My bad for posting it here, you are right, this is not the section but this section seems to have more "educated people", not that the other sections don't.

It was indeed tried by government as a way to gather information about other countries, but the program was terminated in 1995.
It was (unfortunately) called "Stargate"

There have been, then and now, "demonstrations" of this ability shown on TV but whenever the experiments were verified, there was always a trick or a loophole found (it was not always "cheating" as sometimes, the subject themselves were not aware that the experiment was flawed).

I have stopped paying attention to that around 10 years ago. As far as I can tell, they have made no real progress, except in finding more cable networks eager to provide their audience with special thrills.

I did, actually, but I can't say whether it worked or not, because I can't distinguish my experience from imagination. I don't know what I would do to distinguish it, since the period of time I "experienced" was colonial US, where very few records are available.

It did not cost much, because I got a self-hypnosis tape and played it for myself. So the fact that I don't know how to verify what I saw is in part due to not having consulted a professional.

I saw myself as a native American woman married to a white man, a "mountain man," in the frontier region of the Appalachian mountains during colonial days. We had a blond boy, about 7 or 8, and it looked enough like TV and movie scenes I have seen of such circumstances that I cannot say whether those things influenced me.

I remember being almost absurdly proud of my pale husband, so strong and brave, who had sufficiently impressed my father with his courage and good will that he gave me to the paleface as a gift, but only after I had told him I would not mind such a situation. We were happy, times were good, and I don't remember anything more.

Largely because an agrarian society is mostly self reliant. The Democratic platform is dependent on people needing the state more than the state needs them.

Many years ago (perhaps 25), I read a paperback novel that I'm trying to find.
It was about a girl who was abducted by a cult. The father began investigating and found that the cult leader was an expert in astral projection. The father then goes to a master who teaches the father all about astral projection.
The father tracks the cult leader and in a very supernatural ending, he does an astral projection battle with the cult leader, where they both inhabit inanimate objects around them and use the inanimate objects to do physical battle. If one can cut the other's 'silver threat' that connects the astral self to the physical body, the physical body that has been cut off will die. At one point, the cult leader, for example, inhabits a teddy bear and brandishes a knife to try to cut the astral connection of the father.

I took a quiz on ESP. The end result said that I would be great at remote viewing because I was able to see things that were placed in certain areas that were changed daily. I was able to tell them what was there on that day and what item it replaced. My score was about 88% (out of 100%).
I've heard a little about the subject on coast to coast am with Art Bell, George Noory , and from books, tv, etc.. but I'm wondering if this test had any credibility and if anyone knows of any legitimate tests so I know whether to bother persuing this as a hobby.

You would need to do a double blind test, for Controlled Remote Viewing. called CRV.

I went down a winding staircase and through an archway. I was in a large room filled with black clouds, I could only see one door imediatly on my right. It was an average everyday brown door, but it was locked. Went back upstairs found a very old looking key, like medieval looking type, went back downstairs, the key fit in the door but I couldnt turn the key. I kept trying to turn the key but it wouldnt go. The black clouds started swirling and I couldnt see it was so dark. So I went back upstairs.

So does anyone know what this could mean? Any insight would be extremly helpful. The person who did the regression for me is at a loss, and doesnt know why I couldnt get through the door. She also cant explain the black clouds. Please help it is driving me crazy thinking about it.

You are not ready to see what's behind the door yet. Don't let it frustrate you. The clouds will eventually clear and when the time is right to enter, you will know. There are more pressing issues you need to attend to right now…

What are they and what do they do?

They entrain your brainwaves to various frequencies, i.e. to thetawaves (conducive to meditation) by means of two separate frequencies, one in the left speaker, and one in the right, to produce a 'beat' of the desired frequency which is found by finding the difference of the frequency in one speaker with the other. The 'beat' you hear is actually produced in your brain… if you don't believe it, try turning off one speaker and vice versa, you will just hear one squeaky frequency that sounds like a dog whistle.

A dream is all in your subconcious…astral projection is supposedly 'leaving' your body.
