true there are many ways to astral project, however i found it was effective to lay down on your bed, face up and focus on something in your room. Relax dont think hard. leave your mind blank. And soon you will feel detachment from your body. Though be careful, you cannot leave your body if you see another spirit or "presence" in your room or wherever you may be.

The "trick" to astral projection is relaxing and believing that you can do it. alot of people astral project in their dreams and don't even realise it- ever had a dream that was very vivid and you felt like you were actually there? If you want to consciously astral project the best place to start is in bed right before you go to sleep (but not if you're too tired.) lie on your back as comfortably and still as you can. close your eyes and concentrate on breathing deeply in and out (look up meditation if you need help with this). i find a good way to relax is imagining all of the muscles in your body clenching then relaxing starting from your toes and working up. When you feel relaxed enough astral projecting may happen on its own but if it doesn't you just need to visualise yourself slowly floating out of your body. its easiest to pick a really simple goal spot first like right above you but with astral projection you can really go anywhere you can visualise. just remember that you're perfectly safe and can come back to your body at any moment. good luck

Hey whats up man, I have just started my journey in astral travel, I have already experienced 2 successful experiences without trying and this is what made me want to try so I can explore my mind!
If you want to learn how to do it, learn more about what it is (theory's) as I believe it is just a powerful side of the mind others have many theory's but it is true!
so anyways what I do now to induce it is I go into a 10-20 minute meditation then I begin inducing a rapid eye movement and I experience numbness and wild vibrations until I go astral
to put it simple everyone has there own method there are alot of basics but this is mine you will need to read 1 book to start your journey and if you are not successful then try a second start with Robert Bruce and you will be on the right track
You will need to practice meditation and astral projection styles for about a month of more some are successful after a week or two so who knows… I wish you continue your research as it is an amazing experience, its not hard to do either… fear is the hardest part so don't be afraid!
