The fact is Fossett was killed when his plane crashed into the Sierra Mountains just as Dames claimed. Listen to the C2C interview again.

Too bad many stations don’t carry the show on Fridays.
The bottom line: Dames claimed GPS-like accuracy and designated a square mile area that is around 50 miles from the actual location. If the searchers had used Dames as a guide, they would have had to expand the search area around 2500 square miles. And the actual location was far closer to the official search area, which did include portions of the southern sierras. All in all, if Dames stakes his reputation on predictions like this one . . . let’s just say, “buyer beware.”
