Paranormal Phenomena – Astral Projection, Remote Viewing, Past Life Regressions

The following video shows how remote viewing is possible. Although remote viewing is possible and it is easy to learn, it won’t work if it is not taken seriously and practiced until it is achieved. If treated just as an interesting thing but you don’t put effort on it, it won’t work.

Developed through a top-secret U.S. military program, Remote Viewing is proven to be the most effective “psi” skill in the world. Though this skill is easy to learn and utilize within your own life, researchers are just now beginning to understand how and why this groundbreaking skill is possible.

Remote viewing is a fascinating subject and I love to learn something new about it everyday. I have read many books about remote viewing and in my opinion the following five are the best books written about the subject. The authors have different backgrounds and experience but they have written excellent books to help us understand such an incredible and difficult phenomenon.

1.Remote Viewing: The Complete User’s Manual for Coordinate Remote Viewing by David A. Morehouse (Hardcover – Nov 1, 2007) – Illustrated
What I like most about this book is it’s organization like a textbook. For somebody who is starting to learn remote viewing it should be the first choice. It is the most informative book on this subject, not only covering the theory behind remote viewing but also the training part.

2.Psychic Warrior: The True Story of America’s Foremost Psychic Spy and the Cover-Up of the CIA’s Top-Secret Stargate Program by David Morehouse (Mass Market Paperback – Jan 15, 1998)
This book takes a complete different approach than the first one. It is a soldier that tells his story about how he was recruited as a remote viewer. It is not a how to book as the previous one, but it is very interesting because it shows how remote viewing has been used in real life.

3.Remote Viewing: What It Is, Who Uses It and How To Do It by Tim Rifat (Paperback – Jun 1, 2003)
Tim Rifat’s book follows a similar approach than David Morehouse in his book. However, it is not a structured course as the first one. The interesting part of this book is that it presents many remote viewing techniques and protocols. It is a great book to start learning remote viewing, but it should not be used alone. Perhaps combining it with David Morehouse’s one can be a great idea.

4.Limitless Mind: A Guide to Remote Viewing and Transformation of Consciousness by Russell Targ and Jean Houston
What I liked about this book is the evidence it presents for remote viewing. Russell Targ’s profession (a scientist) and his background (he was the founder of the government’s remote viewing program) gives him authority to everything that it is explained in this book.

5.Remote Viewing Secrets: A Handbook by Joseph McMoneagle (Paperback – May 1, 2000)
If you are looking for a how to book, this is not the best choice. However, it is an excellent book for an experienced remote viewer. The author repeats many times in his book that remote viewing is not for everybody. In addition, it contains additional techniques that cannot be found everywhere. It helps to realize that you don’t have to adhere strictly to the methods you learn, but you can add your own experiences.

This is the second part of the experiment Michael Shermer presented in yesterday’s video. I hope you will enjoy this one as much as the first part.

Michael Shermer takes a seminar on remote viewing, a form of ESP in which one attempts to psychically view a remote object, person, or place through intuition or a sixth sense. Shermer reveals the normal explanation for this apparently paranormal phenomenon.

The following video shows Michael Shermer doing a very interesting Remote Viewing Experiment. Michael Shermer is an American science writer, historian of science, founder of The Skeptics Society, and Editor in Chief of its magazine Skeptic, which is largely devoted to investigating and debunking pseudoscientific and supernatural claims.
