In this article I’d like to address a common unspoken question pondered by MANY astral projection practitioners. (especially beginners!) There remains a lot of mystery around astral projection, and the whole phenomena of the paranormal as a whole as well. One of the most common “fears” amongst those of us who regularly project, is the question of danger. Is there anything LURKING out there we need to be aware of….or is it totally safe to “fly free” without worry? Read on as we take a look!
The Magic is in your Mind
I know this is NOT the most satisfying answer for some, but I have NEVER heard of someone having an OBE and NOT coming back..:-) I’ve never come across ANYONE who has had a violent struggle with an entity that has done them ANY real harm. In MY view, ( and this is the part that many find objectionable) much of the experience of OBE is being filtered through your OWN conscious fears, aversions and insecurities. While I KNOW that the OBE is a real phenomenon ( and not just a construct of the mind) I simply believe ALL danger one encounters is mentally constructed, rather than real.
Meditate for Clutter Cleansing
I ALWAYS teach people to meditate regularly for “clear sight” before projecting. Meditation helps to clear blocks, fears and demons in your own closet BEFORE you enter the mysterious realms of the astral planes. You have to remember, your brain DOES indeed process much of the experience, as it is the sensory organ which is filtering, interpreting and affixing meaning to the experience. (although it doesn’t mean that the experience ITSELF is simply a dream, or brain generated event)If your mental landscape is cluttered with apprehension, that indeed is the paradigm that will be processed when your subconscious states are available during the projection experience. Simply clean your mind of ALL fears, believe in the magic of the mystery, embrace the potential of a LIFE affirming and transforming experience…and enjoy the ride, baby!
